# AI Assistant

**Panel code: `AI`**

The AI Assistant answers natural-language questions about markets, tickers, macro events, and trading concepts. It reads your active ticker automatically and uses current price context in every response.

***

## Asking a question

Click the AI Assistant panel and type any question in plain English. Press `Enter` or click **Send** to submit.

Example questions:

```
What's happening with NVDA today?
Summarise the bull and bear case for TSLA
What is VWAP and how do I use it?
Is the SPY chart looking bullish on the daily?
What happened after the last AAPL earnings?
Explain the relationship between the 10-year yield and tech stocks
```

***

## Active ticker context

The assistant automatically knows your **active ticker** — you do not need to specify it unless you want to ask about a different symbol. If your active ticker is `AAPL` you can just ask:

> *"What does the chart look like right now?"*

and the assistant will answer in the context of Apple.

## Limitations

* The assistant does not give personalised financial advice or buy/sell recommendations
* Real-time price data is provided as context but the assistant is not a trading execution system
* Knowledge of events beyond the model's training cutoff may be limited — always verify breaking news in the News Feed

> **Tip:** Use the AI Assistant alongside the Chart and News Feed in the same workspace. Ask the assistant to summarise why a stock is moving while you watch the price and headlines in real time.
